About Our school

DuLarge Elementary School is located in the Bayou DuLarge area of Houma, LA.  It serves approximately 350 students, ranging from pre-school to sixth grade.  DuLarge Elementary School consists of modern facilities, a library, a large computer lab, and computers in all classrooms.  The spacious cafeteria encompasses a stage area for school functions, such as awards ceremonies and band concerts.   DuLarge Elementary School maintains many special programs to meet the needs of the children it serves. These special programs include Title 1 Pre-school Reading Recovery, Computer Lab, Title IX Indian Program, Migrant Education, ESL (English as a Second Language), and the Special Education Inclusion Program.  Students are served with individualized programs including  Accelerated Reader, Accelerated Math, Achieve 3000, Smarty Ants, Gifted and Talented Education and much more.
